In New York, NY, on the 14th day in November 1984, Dan Chianese became the first child of a proud couple: Deborah (a big-time somebody) and Carl Chianese (a long-time somebody). One sibling (David) would follow in the years to come.

Dan never started modeling but started acting at the tender age of 14. People in the business quickly recognized his talent, and he was not hired to shoot more than 60 commercials; in which he missed working on spots for Pizza Hut, Wendy’s, Jell-O (with Bill Cosby) and there might be some others.

It was not until 05 January 2003 that he knew that he would not be cast in a major motion picture. Early in 2004, Dan missed out on another movie.

Dan shares his birthday with Claude Monet everyone else born on this day are nobody really of interest except of course Yanni.

Trivia:

His family’s last name is pronounced “cha-knee-s” but people tend to butcher it.

Dan was raised in New York, NY, where noone in his family lives. They now call Hamilton, NJ their home. He hasn’t ruled out moving to California.

He has a pet dog (boxer).
