Interviewer (William Hugh) – Looking for another sign of the decline of society? This troubling incident occurred a few months ago, and involved a senior citizen, a local man, and pack of refreshing candy. This man, Dan Chianese, is here to talk about this day of disaster.

DAN – Yes I remember what happened. It was one o’clock on a Saturday afternoon, the sun was shining and the clouds were puffy, I remember this because I was on my way home from my jump rope competition, which I won. So I decided I deserved an ice cream cone for what a tremendous job I just did. Now when I got to the ice cream shop I realized that I was out of money. Then it occurred to me that I had spent my last $10 on food for the pigeons at the park. Now what I remember the most was that I really needed an ice cream cone bad and I didn't know what to do. So while I was pondering the situation, I noticed seeing an old woman, counting her money . Without even thinking I reached into my pocket and pulled out a pack of mentos and popped one in my mouth…very delicious. It was so refreshing I felt like I was on top of the world and I could accomplish anything. So I robbed that woman and bought myself an ice cream cone.
